Launching Internet of Things Timisoara Meetup

The-Internet-of-Things

The diverse scenery of tech meetups in Timișoara has now a new pin: Internet of Things Timișoara Meetup. At the initiative of the two organizers, Radu Ticiu and Cătălin Gheorghiu, the local IoT meetup will officially launch on the 19th of March, starting 19:00 PM at the home of most of the local tech meetups, Timișoara Startup Hub.

The enthusiasm of planning the first edition has been materialized into having two good speakers ready to share their know-how on the IoT field. Firstly, Cătălin Gheorghiu will be approaching topics such as Galileo, Windows & IoT, Programming Windows on small IoT devices (ARM and x86 , diverse hardware) and Windows Developer Program for IoT.

Radu Motișan will share with his journey in building uRADMonitor, a global array of connected monitoring stations, which are involved on a 24/7, continuous Environmental Gamma Radiation Surveillance. Last but not least, Radu Motișan will be speaking about Hackaday Prize 2015, an international makers’ competition where, in the last year’s edition, he advanced to semifinals with the uRADMonitor system.

You can find out more on this topic on the event’s meetup.com page.
