Hands on Deep Leaning: from the first classifier to neural style transfer

• What we’ll do
1st part: setting up the environment: installing all the libraries for working with deep learning (python virtual environment, python 3.5, numpy, tensorflow, keras, etc.).
2nd part: we will create together a small neural network to classify MNIST digits
3rd part: we will create a classifier for CIFAR-10. We will use different methods to improve the performance of our model.
4th part: we will use deep learning for style transfer. This means the style of a piece of artwork will be transferred onto a picture.
• What to bring
A laptop with Ubuntu 16.04 installed. We are working on a docker for the ones with Windows systems.
