The Banat IT Early Autumn BBQ, was the second edition of our networking event that brings together members from all tech and IT sectors in Timisoara, for an evening of fun, gulas,burgers, drinks and  live music.

Banat IT Early Autumn Barbeque was a successful event, with more than 320 participants, who filled  the venue, La Capite. Monetary speaking, our community drank the fourth times the value of their food. And there was a lot of food! In less than a hour the BIT Gulyas Cauldron was empty and the chef was continuously busy grilling the BIT Burgers and many more delicious grills.

 We gathered last week on a sunny wednesday evening to celebrate an event that has become tradition in Timisoara tech community. We gathered to celebrate YOU, to have fun, to eat goodies and drink , but most important to see each other and share stories. We tried and managed successfully to  create the perfect atmosphere for attendees to encounter friends, colleagues and former colleagues in a less formal environment and for the companies to gather their employees beyond organisational borders.

We also had a charity component, giving out best to aid Florina Gogiuman, our fellow programmer from Visma, that entered a long and costly recovery process following neurological complications of a rather minor surgery procedure. All of the money raised by this years raffle and auction went to  helping Floriana in this great time of need.              

We are appreciating the contribution of 3 bands (Posta Mare, All Friends Band, and  Virgula), of DJ Kuky, of the raffle
prize donors (DAB IT, Coding Serbia Conference, Anca Petre, Florin Chindea), of the auction donors (Mozaic Works & Flavius Stef, Salonul ROVINHUD & Zoltan Soverfi-Szep, etc) and Rosman Talent Solutions for offering an additional prize to our surprise contest, which took place at almost midnight, aiming to reward the most enthusiastic party people.
