SUMMARY:Autoliv Student Contest Finals
DESCRIPTION:\nAutoliv\, one of the worldwide leaders in automotive safety organized through its R&D center located in Timisoara a competition opened to students.\\nParticipants were asked to  design and build an autonomous car that will be drove in Autoliv City (a scaled down city with roads and traffic lights)\, making use of active safety systems. \nThe 5 finalist teams will drive their cars on the city model in Timisoara City Business Centre\, D Building Mezzanine\, Fri\, Jun 27\, starting 4 PM. The organizers will bring Ionut Budisteanu\, the young Romanian winner of Intel Innovation Award for creating a self-driving car\, as a special guest to the event .  \nThe event is open for those interested in this kind of tech displays. The city mock-up will be installed over the weekend in Timisoara Startup Hub.  \n

DESCRIPTION:\nThis month\’s edition will bring in front of the participants a very young team\, formed by Adrian Garovat and Raul Brumar\, recently winners of a runner up award for the Advanced Programming Languages category at CoderDojo Coolest Projects Awards in Dublin. They\’ve jointly developed Clash of Empires\, a Java game that was really appreciated by both the jury and the kids attending the event. \\nAdditionally will have a more formal component of the event together with special guests from the first registered Romanian gaming industry association. Andrei Istrate and and Cristian Tanase will present the Romanian Game Developers Association\’s philosophy\, activities and future plans\, including those related to a more increased territorial presence.  \n
