SUMMARY:Agile Talks #4
DESCRIPTION:\nHi\, \nAgile Talks wants to bring together people who are passionate about software development and agile methods. \nWe will have two talks of maximum 30 minutes and after that two Open Space slots for around one hours. \nThe event ends with a group retrospective and with some conclusions from the participants. \nAgile Talks is a great opportunity to both learn from other people’s experiences and discuss your own topics during the Open Space. \nFirst Talk : Andreea Grigoras – “Adapt the system to the people\, and not the people to the system” . It is a story about a scrum master who\, together with her team\, discovered what it really means to be agile. They failed\, they have experimented and kept on trying\, until they found their way of doing things. \nAndreea is a Scrum Master at 123ContactForm\, and is constantly trying to help product teams be better\, faster\, acting like a single organism. She likes to work with people and learn new things with every occasion she’s got. You can usually find her running through the desks from one person to another while answering and asking questions\, or complaining she hasn’t read a book in days. \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Een-GhdriU \nSecond Talk : Andrei Pfeiffer – “How full is your stack?”. All developers want to be full stack. All companies are looking for full stack developers. But what are they? Are they real? or legend? \nAndrei Pfeiffer is currently a Code Designer at [e-spres-oh]\, while also playing the role of Technical Mentor. He is one of the 3 organizers of tim.js\, probably the biggest meetup in Timisoara. He writes technical articles on Medium\, while being an open source translator for Babel and Jest. \nIf you want to sponsor Agile Talks\, please get in touch. Participants love having some drinks and some food in the evening so that can discuss the current burning matters with more energy. \nAgenda: \n18:30 – 18:45 Arriving\, socializing18:45 – 19:00 Introduction19:00 – 19:30 Andreea Grigoras – “Adapt the system to the people\, and not the people to the system” 19:30 – 20:00 Andrei Pfeiffer – “How full is your stack?” 20:00 – 20:10 Break20:10 – 21:00 Open Space – ask the speakers for more details or propose interesting topics21:00 – 21:15 Retrospective\, Closing \n

SUMMARY:RoPython Meetup #2
DESCRIPTION:\nThe next meetup will take place on the 31st of October. \nAgenda: \nGabriel Trautmann presenting techniques for optimizing Python code in the context of  “Form Recognition / Clustering with Locality Sensitive Hashing”. \nMihai Balint – Python’ async web framework performance gauntlet – 2017 editionIn this presentation we compare the performance of modern async web frameworks running on python 3.6. The contenders are tested in four scenarios designed to emphasize common tasks undertaken by web frameworks: serializing objects to json\, building html from a template\, fetching data from a database and querying third-party http endpoints. We match the popular against the obscure and the pure against the compiled in an effort to discover the king of requests per second. \nStay tuned for more details! \n
