Autoliv, one of the worldwide leaders in automotive safety organized through its R&D center located in Timisoara a competition opened to students.\
Participants were asked to design and build an autonomous car that will be drove in Autoliv City (a scaled down city with roads and traffic lights), making use of active safety systems.

The 5 finalist teams will drive their cars on the city model in Timisoara City Business Centre, D Building Mezzanine, Fri, Jun 27, starting 4 PM. The organizers will bring Ionut Budisteanu, the young Romanian winner of Intel Innovation Award for creating a self-driving car, as a special guest to the event .

The event is open for those interested in this kind of tech displays. The city mock-up will be installed over the weekend in Timisoara Startup Hub.
