Whether we evoke spring enthusiasm or simply community’s natural development, there is certainly something in common related to the launch of two new tech meetups in Timisoara.
First one to take the initiative was the much requested Timisoara Automotive Technologies Meetup. Its
inaugural meetup will take place on the 9th of April, starting 6:30 PM, at Timisoara Startup Hub, welcoming all professionals with interest in Automotive & manufacturing, whether having an IT, mechanics, design or product management background or not.
The first attraction of the event will be the Skype discussion with Jim Kor, high tech savvy and founder of the Korecologic, the design studio developing URBEE, a low fuel consumption, 3D printed car.
This will be a great opportunity to learn more about Jim’s activity, for all professionals considering to attend the HELLA Driving Innovation Day in Timisoara event, where Kor will be one of the keynote speakers. During the Thursday meetup event, the discussions will be directed in order to approach “the processes transforming visionary’s concepts in the touchable and ready-to-be-driven car and how the on-board technology balance is reached, keeping the system complexity and costs in the commercial and technological desired ranges”, as stated by Radu Ticiu, the organizer of the meetup.
The second segment of the event, will bring in the spotlight, one of the most active hardware entrepreneur in the city, Calin Brandabur, who will be presenting his Symme 3D, a 3D processing center including 3D printing, laser cutting, routing capabilities .
Those interested in attending the event are asked to confirm their participation on meetup.com.
