Busy Week in Timisoara Tech Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Beyond

coding screenAfter a relaxed summer, early autumn high spirits are on display when it’s about the activism within Timisoara tech entrepreneurial ecosystem.

This week of September 22-27, you may reward the dedication of our awesome tech community leaders and spend smart hours attending various tech meetups, open your mind towards complementary business topics or mentor the younger (still future) programmers entering the ball-room at CoderDojos in Timisoara or Dumbravita.

Wednesday, September 24th

The JavaScript Meetup (6:30 pm in Timisoara Startup Hub) with two presentations on 3D Footprint, Immersing data centers into virtual reality by Marius Turica and Intro to ES6 Generators by Lucian Pacurar.


Thursday, September 25th

Timisoara .Net Meetup #4 (6:30 pm, Softvision offices) with Romulus Susanu talking on Maximizing .NET Application Performances with Task Parallel Library and Emil Craciun with a presentation named SignalR to the rescue! Helping applications running on different platforms communicate easier

Coding Serbia (6:30, Congress Room of Hotel Centar, Novi-Sad, Serbia)
will host an interesting Elasticsearch – from novice to expert in 90 minutes meetup with Dr. Patrick Peschlow, Lead Developer Core at CenterDevice GmbH.


Friday, September 26th

OpenNebula TechDays @Timisoara (3:00 pm, City Business Centre) will bring an  Open Nebula Hands-on Workshop with Jaime Melis, Engineer at OpenNebula and C12G Labs.

Timisoara Game Devs Meetup (7:00 pm in Timisoara Startup Hub) will host presentations of apps and games Bluemond developed by Ovidiu Roteliuc and PlaneSim by Oscar Molnar

CentOS Dojo @Timisoara (9:30 am, City Business Centre) will bring a long day of presentations by Valentin Bud (OpenNebula in Production), Nicolae Critu & Catalin Costea (Platform in a box – Deployment from virtual box to enterprise cloud), Alessandro Pilotti (Automating OpenStack CI testing on CentOS with Tempest and RDO), Jaime Melis (OpenNebula on CentOS – A zero to hero session on running own cloud on CentOS Linux with OpenNebula, KVM and GlusterFS) and Karanbir Singh (Beginers guide to The CentOS Project and Developing with CentOS in the cloud)

The Marketing Injection (8:00 pm in Timisoara Startup Hub) an informal gathering structured around a discussion panel on the importance of early addition of professional marketing knowledge in tech startups, with Laura-Camelia Moisei – Head of Marketing & PR at 123ContactForm,

Also on Saturday, you may start mentoring at CoderDojo Timisoara (10:00 am, in Timisoara Startup Hub) or CoderDojo Dumbravita (10:00 am, Dumbravita City Hall). About 100 kids are eager to learn Scratch, HTML+CSS, Photoshop, PHP, Java, C#, Ruby, algorithmics.
